Exam Notes: This past professional athlete received all porcelain crowns on his two front teeth. The old crowns were present for many years. Note how the proportion of his teeth was improved by performing minor cosmetic gum treatment in advance of the new crowns. In addition, limited cosmetic bonding was employed on the 2nd tooth on each side to enhance the result.
This patient's front teeth now integrate ideally with his other teeth, as well as with the face, giving a natural healthy appearance. A dramatic difference with limited treatment can often be achieved.
